Hello, I am Ashton Briar Vaughn. I am a designer living in Houston but the Dallas native in me will always root for the Mavericks. My design experience ranges from crafting logos and other branding materials, poster illustration to UX/UI and custom lettering but I'm always trying to expand. I have a habit of designing posters for the concerts that I go to. Not so that I can get anything out of it just to do it and get an idea out there. This one was made around the time the Flying Lotus (Real name: Steve Ellison) had debuted his rapper alter ego Captain Murphy. I have been into Flying Lotus for a while at that point and I was really liking the Capt. Murphy project that had been released so when the Brainfeeder record label added Houston to their US tour, I had to make something. I was fortunate enough to get the poster signed by Flying Lotus himself.
